Job Responsibilities:

  • Utilize business and industry knowledge to research accounts, identify key players, generate interest, create/identify compelling events, and develop accounts
  • Learn and maintain knowledge of our company’s products, solutions, & messaging
  • Connect with our existing and potential clients in meaningful ways and effectively demonstrate how our products best satisfy their needs in terms of quality, price and delivery
  • Develop leads, schedule appointments / meetings, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services
  • Provide technical support in sales calls, technical requirement gathering sessions, and solution presentations
  • Deliver client needs and business requirements to Solutions Architect to develop customized software application product
  • Generate brand awareness and positive product impressions to increase sales.
  • Consistently generate new business opportunities and leads to maintain an active sales pipeline
  • Attend industry relevant events that help develop working relationships
  • Outbound prospecting to companies via cold calling, email, marketing campaigns, etc.
  • Manage, track, and document activities and results
  • Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service

  • 5+ years of consultative business-to-business ROI-based sales experience with a successful track record of achievement, prospecting and cold-calling.
  • Past titles possible include Business Development, Account Manager / Executive, Sales Representative, Solutions Consultant, etc.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong oral and written communication, including superior customer service and presentation skills
  • Ownership of personal vehicle to drive to customer accounts, conventions, company meetings, etc.
  • Valid driver's license and clear driving record required
  • Excellent work ethic with proven ability to multi-task

Bonus Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of on-the-job experience with enterprise-level, cloud-based systems and solutions or web-based system development processes.
  • Strong knowledge of software development life-cycles, systems engineering and business process re-engineering
